Great Bedwyn Sell, Swap and Share is next Sunday 15th !

Come and find bargains in many places across Great Bedwyn village, located between Marlborough & Hungerford. Preloved books, clothes, toys, tools, DVDs, CDs, household items etc. will be outside people’s homes and in garages. There is also a plant stall by the post office and in St Mary's Church, a stand about carbon literacy (see below) and delicious tea & homemade cakes made by Bedwyn WI and Church volunteers.

All the places taking part in the Sell, Swap & Share will be marked by a green flag. The map shows the locations of all participating sites, car parking, the Church and the plant stall:

Map will be updated regularly - check back here soon

The carbon literacy stand will help you learn about nature and climate and gain confidence and inspire others in protecting our future. The Carbon Literacy Project was recognised during the 2015 Paris Agreement as one of 100 worldwide Transformative Action Programs; over 100,000 people in over 45 nations have been certified as Carbon Literate. Further information from Pat Glover (Certified Carbon literate) who is running the stand and a new carbon literacy programme, or from: https://carbonliteracy.com/

This community event is organised by Great Green Bedwyn as part of the national UK Great Big Green week. All enquiries to: greatgreenbedwyn@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing you on 15 June !
